PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a lifting phenomenon due to thermal expansion coefficient difference between a rear electrode layer and a substrate by scribing the solar cells through an isotropic etching process using a water-zet. CONSTITUTION: A rear electrode layer(200) is formed on a substrate(100). A first penetration hole(P1) penetrates through the rear electrode layer. A first recess groove is extended from the first penetration hole. A light absorbing layer(300) is formed on the rear electrode layer including the first recess groove and the first penetration hole. A front electrode layer(800) is formed on the light absorbing layer. |
