<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve exhaust pressure below an exhaust pressure resistance and a small passage diameter of a bridge passage. <P>SOLUTION: The bridge passage 41 is connected to an intermediate portion of a joining passage 23AD connected to cylinders 11A, 11D and an intermediate portion of a joining passage 23BC connected to cylinders 11B, 11C, and is provided with a first electric opening and closing valve V1 in an intermediate portion of the bridge passage 41. A heat exchanger 43 is provided in an EGR passage 42 which connects the bridge passage 41 and an intake passage 17. A second electric opening and closing valve V2 is provided in the portion of the EGR passage 42 downstream of the heat exchanger 43 and a third electric opening and closing valve V3 is provided in the portion of the EGR passage 42 upstream of the heat exchanger 43. A control computer C controls the opening and closing of the first opening and closing valve V1, the second opening and closing valve V2, and the third opening and closing valve V3, in accordance with an engine speed and an engine load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
