<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color value acquiring method, a color value acquiring apparatus, an image processing method, an image processing apparatus, and a program, capable of significantly reducing material cost and man-hour which are associated with a protective film laminating work and transfer to an exhibition site, without degrading accuracy of color reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: Color reproduction data of a print 38 obtained by forming an image on a medium 36 that meets an input type thereto, and spectral data of a laminate film 40 that meets the input type, are acquired. A reference color is determined based on color information of a designated color to be reproduced on a protective-film-laminated print 42. Based on the acquired color reproduction data of the print 38 and the spectral data of the laminate film 40, the determined reference color is converted into another reference color that meets the print 38 not having the laminate film 40 thereon. A color value that meets a color patch 44 selected from a designated-color adjusting color chart 38c is acquired as the color closest to the designated color, under a condition where the laminate film 40 is not laminated, wherein the designated-color adjusting color chart 38c is provided with a plurality of color patches 44 composed of the converted other reference color or colors close thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
