<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fused-ring compound capable of attaining the efficiency heightening and life prolongation of an organic luminescent element. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a 1H-indeno[3,2-a]pyrene derivative having a substituent or substituents such as a pyridyl group optionally substituted with e.g., a quinolyl group, a phenyl group, a diphenylamino group, or an N-phenylcarbazolylphenylamino group at position 3 and/or position 10; and a luminescent element 10 composed of a substrate 11 and a first electrode 13, an organic layer 15 containing the indenopyrene derivative, and a second electrode 17, formed thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
