PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device constituted of a small number of components, inexpensive and capable of correcting a camera shake by easy control, and to provide an autofocus camera and a cellular phone with a camera. SOLUTION: The lens drive device includes: a camera shake correction X-Y drive part 33 moving a lens support 5 in an X-Y direction; a main image sensor 31 provided at an image forming position of the lens; X-direction image sensors 38a and 38b provided at an outer periphery of the main image sensor 31; Y-direction image sensors 39a and 39b provided at the outer periphery of the main image sensor; and a controller 25. The controller 25 calculates a deviation amount in a position of a high band component area of past contrast recorded with a time lag from a high band component area of present contrast in the X-direction image sensors 38a and 38b and the Y-direction image sensors 39a and 39b, and the X-Y drive part moves the lens support 5 relative to the main image sensor 31 by an amount equivalent to the deviation amount in an X-direction and the deviation amount in a Y-direction calculated by the controller, thereby correcting the camera shake.
