PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide structure of a seat for a vehicle which can make it hard to deform a holding member, and can make the holding member compact. SOLUTION: The slide structure of a seat for an automobile as a seat for a vehicle includes a lower rail, an upper rail 2 having a left wall 23 and a right wall, a screw rod, a nut member 4, and a holding member 5 having a front holding piece 51 and a rear holding piece 52 which hold the nut member 4. Holes 27, 28 for inserting projection pieces are provided on the left wall 23 and the right wall of the upper rail 2, respectively. Projection pieces 58, 59 to be inserted in the holes 27, 28 for inserting the projection pieces are provided to the front holding piece 51 and the rear holding piece 52 of the holding member 5, respectively.
