摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration in the durability of a differential gear due to the generation of an excessive actual driving torque in a sub-driving wheel without impairing the starting performance of a four-wheel-drive vehicle, when the vehicle performs a shift change from a backward gear stage to a forward gear stage. SOLUTION: In this four-wheel-drive wheel vehicle, a sub-driving wheel distribution torque is distributed from the front wheels Wf to the rear wheels Wr via a torque distribution clutch 40. When a gear stage is the backward gear stage and the gear stage is switched from the backward gear stage to the forward gear stage when vehicle body speed is at a prescribed value or more, the upper limit value of the engaging force of a torque distribution clutch 40 is gradually increased from a backward time torque limit value to a forward time torque limit value without a rapid increase, and thereby the durability of the rear differential gear 16 can be prevented from being adversely affected due to generation of an excessive actual driving torque in the sub-driving wheel.
