PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper opening/closing device for a ventilating fan for cargo hold interior ventilation enabling easy closing operation during fire extinguishing, having a simple structure, enabling reduction in material amount, reducing an installation space, shortening time for mounting work in the field and capable of reducing maintenance work by sailors. SOLUTION: The damper opening/closing device for the ventilating fan for cargo hold interior ventilation of an automobile carrying vessel performing ventilation by discharging exhaust gas etc. of automobiles which are cargo generated within the cargo hold from an opening arranged on an upper deck from inside of the cargo hold including a CO<SB>2</SB>discharge nozzle for fire extinguishing arranged therein includes: a stopper hinge arranged at the outer peripheral edge of the damper opening/closing device and having a tip in which a stopper and a screw type spindle are fitted by a stopper pin and the spindle is installed at an outer edge of a ventilating fan combing and an inner side screwed to a screw-shaped boss; and a handle provided at a lower end of the spindle.
