PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the convenience of a medical examination unit by easing restrictions on a chargeable position of a cordless medical examination instrument. SOLUTION: A unit body 10 holds the cordless medical examination instrument 70 at a charging position by a holder body 231 of the medical examination instrument holder 23. When a power receiving circuit 73 provided in the cordless medical examination instrument 70 receives the supply of power by the action of electromagnetic induction from the power feeding circuit 83 of the holder body 231, a storage battery 75 is charged in a noncontact manner.
