The device has a control device (1) transmitting a message to components (2) at a transmission time point. Each component identifies, processes and responds to the message corresponding to different parameters e.g. positions. The components receiving the message are simultaneously offset relative to each other according to requirement, and transmit feedback to the control device and/or other components that receive the message before the time point. The control device and the latter components are displaced in a position to respond to the feedback by an integrated error compensation unit (24). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating components.
