PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample cell for fluorescent X-ray analysis which permits accurate element analysis by preventing the expansion of a sheet which transmits fluorescent X rays even when inside pressure has risen. SOLUTION: In the sample cell (the sample cell for fluorescent X-ray analysis) 1 which houses a sample such as a liquid fuel and is sealed by an X-ray transmitting sheet 102, a cup edge face is deformed so that the inside capacity of the sample cell 1 may increase prior to the expansion of the X-ray transmitting sheet 102 to be a window part when inside pressure has risen. The cup edge face is formed by folding film-like materials and enlarged toward the outside of the sample cell 1 when the pressure in the sample cell 1 has risen to increase the inside capacity of the sample cell 1. A capacity increase relaxes a pressure rise to prevent the expansion of the X-ray transmitting sheet 102. It is therefore possible to prevent the distance between the sample and a fluorescent X-ray detector from varying and perform highly accurate fluorescent X-ray analysis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
