<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planter sufficiently demonstrating the water-retaining ability and water supplying ability of a water-retaining agent for growing plants, and to provide a method for growing plants using the planter. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the planter for growing plants designed such that a partition plate having a plurality of holes allowing plant roots to pass and vertically partitioning the inside of the planter is fixedly installed, a drainage hole is installed in a position of the height of the partition plate on the side of the planter, and a drainage hole is not further installed below the drainage hole installed in a position of the height of the partition plate; and the method for growing plants with the planter, including putting a water-retaining agent into the lower side of the partition plate and soil on the upper side in the planter, and planting plants in the soil to grow plants. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
