The invention relates to a turbocharger (10) for an exhaust line, intended for being connected to an engine of an automobile, the exhaust line including an exhaust manifold and the engine including a cylinder head, the turbocharger (10) including: a turbine casing (20); a delivery casing (24); a mounting part (38) for the turbocharger (10) attached to the turbine casing (20) and the delivery casing (24); and a first attachment means (40) suitable for attaching the turbocharger (10) to either the exhaust manifold or the cylinder head, characterised in that the mounting part (38) is inserted between the turbine casing (20) and the delivery casing (24), the mounting part (38) having a thickness of 1 mm to 10 mm, and in that the turbine housing (20) is made of sheet steel or a composite material having a thickness of 0.5 mm to 3 mm.
