The truck (1) has a power supply unit (4) i.e. battery block, arranged within a frame (2) in a battery box (3). The frame is provided with a lateral opening such that the supply unit is moved relative to the battery box by the opening in a horizontal direction. The supply unit is provided on a thrust carriage (10) that is adjustably arranged in the battery box in a transverse direction and adjusted by a driving device between operating and alternate positions. The supply unit is deformed against a vehicle-sided stopper by the driving device in the operating position of the carriage.
