The device (1) has a piston (5) supported with respect to an energy storage (4) i.e. compression spring (18), and limiting accommodatable fluid amount within a storage housing (2). The piston is held in a position equivalent to maximum of volume of the fluid amount in the housing by a valve device (6), where a fluid-guiding connection (7) between the housing and a consumer (8) is blocked by the valve device in the position. The valve device is formed from a seat valve (9) e.g. sequence valve, electromagnetically actuated valve and check valve.
