The present invention relates to methods for detecting PRRSV antibodies, wherein at least two PRRSV proteins or fragments thereof are provided and contacted with serum under conditions that allow the binding of PRRSV antibodies in the serum to the PRRSV proteins. In an additional step, PRRSV antibodies bound to the PRRSV proteins are detected. Furthermore, a system and a kit for the detection of PRRSV antibodies are provided.
