<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for stably pressure-fixing a sound insulating panel by a leaf spring without using a fall preventive wire and moreover reducing a burden of construction labor. <P>SOLUTION: The sound insulating wall includes: posts each formed of H-shape steel with a pair of flange parts connected to both ends of a web part; the sound insulating panel 4 disposed abutting on one flange part 32 of each post from the inside; and the plate spring clamped between the sound insulating panel 4 and the other flange part 31 of the post and formed by bending a metal plate to exhibit elasticity in the clamping direction. Locking holes are formed in positions corresponding to the flange parts 31, 32 of the upper face of the sound insulating panel 4. The plate spring includes a vertical side part 41, an upper side part 42, and a locking piece 43 projected downward from the tip of the upper side part 42. The vertical side part 41 abuts on the side face of the sound insulating panel 4, and the upper side part 42 abuts on the upper face of the sound insulating panel 4.
