METHOD AND SENSOR FOR POSITIONING MAGNETIC SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately positioning a magnetic sensor at a sensor defining position along an air cylinder attached to a piston. SOLUTION: A sensor 10 is positioned in the following steps: (a) mutually relatively slide-moving the sensor 10 and output magnet 12 along a slide moving route; (b) detecting a measurement signal determined by the interval of the sensor output magnet 12 during slide movement; (c) determining a sensor defining position; (d) displaying the sensor defining position; and (e) fixing the sensor 10 to the sensor defining position.
