PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting runner apparatus for molten iron which employs tilting runner configuration enabling necessary height from a molten iron tapping hole of a blast furnace to a molten iron ladle to be reduced, consequently actualizes reduction in the blast furnace height, compact configuration of the whole casthouse and prolonged life of a tilting runner. SOLUTION: The tilting runner apparatus for molten iron includes: a molten iron receiving runner 13 for receiving the molten iron tapped from the blast furnace 1 and dropped down from a large runner 3; and the tilting runner 14 which has molten iron flowing-out holes 15 at both ends and which causes the molten iron to drop down from one of the flowing-out holes 15 by tilting and pours the dropped molten iron into the molten iron ladle 7a or 7b. In the tilting runner apparatus for molten iron, the molten iron receiving runner 13 is arranged in such a manner that the molten iron can be communicated from the large runner side to the tilting runner at the center position of the tilting runner 14 on the large runner side and in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the tilting runner 14.
