The invention relates to a carrying assembly for photovoltaic modules, in particular large-area, thin-film solar modules, having a driven ground support and a connection means which is located between the upper end of the support, which is remote from the ground, and the lower face of the module. According to the invention, the connection means is affixed in the center of gravity of the respective module and designed as a sleeve or plug-in part, wherein the contour of the sleeve or plug-in part is complementary to the outer or inner contour of at least one fastening section of the driven ground support in order to affix the module to the support such that it is secured against rotation.
