An electronic control device is provided with a housing section (10), a lid section (20), connection sections (11) which fix the lid section (20) to the housing section (10), extending sections (221 - 224, 231) which extend outward of abutting sections (230) where the lid section (20) and the housing section (10) abuts each other, and a control section (30) which is provided to a housing space (15). The extending sections (221 - 224, 231) comprise vertically provided sections (234) which are provided vertically toward the bottom of the housing section (10) or toward the lid section (20) and are formed in such a way as to cover the abutting sections (230). Gaps of a predetermined size are formed between the vertically provided sections (234) and the outer wall of the lid section (20) or the outer wall of the housing section (10), whichever is nearer the abutting sections (230). |
