A rubber member for laser bonding which comprises a rubber ingredient and silica, the silica having an average particle diameter of 50-120 nm, excluding 50 nm, and the amount of the silica being 10-50 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber ingredient, and which has a laser light transmittance of 30% or higher. The laser light transmittance is a transmittance measured when the rubber member having a thickness of 2 mm is irradiated with laser light having a wavelength of 808 nm. Preferably, the silica comprises silica having an average particle diameter of 50-120 nm, excluding 50 nm, and silica having an average particle diameter of 5-50 nm, the amount of the silica with an average particle diameter of 50-120 nm, excluding 50 nm, being 10-50 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber ingredient and the amount of the silica with an average particle diameter of 5-50 nm being 10-50 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber ingredient. |
