<p>A method for detecting overload of a crane by power manner comprises the steps as follows: (1) Detecting working voltage and working current of a motor; (2) Calculating the load weight of the crane by the under-mentioned mathematic model: m=K?UICOSF/gv, wherein m is the load weight of the crane, k is a modulus value, U is the working voltage of the motor, I is the working current of the motor, COSF is the power factor of the motor, ? is the hoisting efficiency of the crane, v is the load hoisting speed, and g is the gravity acceleration of the load weight; (3) Comparing the calculated load weight with a predetermined load of the crane, and determining the overload of the crane. The method enables detection of the load weight of the crane with high response speed and high accuracy by detecting the working voltage and working current of the motor and combining the load hoisting speed and motor relative parameters provided by a user without utilizing a weight sensor, thus avoiding the effect of voltage fluctuation.</p> |
