<p>The present invention relates to an auction method using a communication network, whereby a bidder's computer randomly selects one from among several discount rate data to apply in an auction. According to the present invention, the highest bidder is not determined as the successful bidder, but rather, the bidder who decides to bid first is determined as the successful bidder. Also, by allowing participation in an auction on the condition that an advertisement must be viewed, a successful bidder can receive an article without having to pay for it.</p> |
