RUBBER COMPOSITION OF OIL SEAL FOR POWER STEERING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A rubber composition of oil seal for a power steering system is provided to prevent the generation of friction coupling while maintaining heat resistance, oil resistance and low temperature property for a long term use. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition of oil seal for a power steering system comprises 100.0 parts by weight of hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, 40-60 parts by weight of FEF carbon black, 10-30 parts by weight of SRF carbon black, and 4-8 parts by weight of cross-linking agent. The cross-linking agent is organic peroxide. The particle diameter of the FEF carbon black is 40-48 micron and the particle diameter of the SRF carbon black is 70-90 micron.
