PROJECTION GRAPHIC DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection graphic display device capable of displaying a projection video conformed to the shape of a screen by a simple configuration.

SOLUTION: A projector 10 includes: a light source 30; a video-signal processor 60 generating a video signal for the projection video by converting an input video signal; and an indicating element 40 generating a video light by modulating outgoing light from the light source 30 on the basis of the video signal generated by the video-signal processor 60. The projector further includes a projection optical system 50 projecting the video light generated by the indicating element 40 to a projection surface 100. The screen 120 is mounted on the projection surface 100. The video signal processor 60 includes: a mask-information generating means generating mask information for masking the video light in response to a non-display area on the basis of display-region information indicating the region of the screen 120; and a mask-video generating means converting the non-display area into a mask video signal for displaying a black on the basis of the mask information.
