<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device hardly causes such an inconvenience that while developer is satisfactorily released from a developing roller (developer carrier) in a position of a developer-releasing magnetic pole, the developer released from the developer carrier after a developing process is carried again on the developer carrier in a second conveying path, when two conveying members that form a circulation route through which the developer is conveyed in a longitudinal direction are arranged so as to face the developer carrier and when a developer regulating member is disposed below the developer carrier, and also to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is provided with a release assist roller 13k used to assist release of the developer from the developer carrier 13a in the position of the developer-releasing magnetic pole H4 by causing magnetic force to act on the developer carried on the developer carrier 13a in a position on the upstream side in a rotation direction of the developer carrier 13a with respect to a separation member 13d, the position where the release assist roller 13k is disposed opposite the developer carrier 13a near a magnetic pole H3 on the upstream side of the two magnetic poles H3 and H5 that form the developer-releasing magnetic pole H4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
