<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance separation membrane module that resists deposition of proteins or organic substances by improving such drawbacks of prior arts. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a separation membrane which comprises a polysulfone-based polymer, wherein the membrane has a functional layer obtained by radio active ray irradiation on one side surface, the functional layer has an ester-originated carbon peak area percentage of 0.1 (atom%) to 10 (atom%) as measured by X-ray electron spectroscopy (ESCA), the opposite surface of the functional layer has an ester-originated carbon peak area percentage of 10 (atom%) or less as measured by X-ray electron spectroscopy (ESCA), and the ester-originated carbon amount of the functional layer surface is greater than that of the opposite surface of the functional layer, and the separation membrane module containing the separation membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
