<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight lighting assembly in which coupling efficiency of a point light source to a thin polymer light guide film is enhanced by an optical coupling clip with respect to a display lighting. <P>SOLUTION: The backlight lighting assembly includes a uniform light source 12 having a substrate for providing a structural and functional support to the assembly, a bottom reflector provided on a substrate, a plurality of solid light sources installed at the opening of the bottom reflector for providing a point light source, a plurality of optical films 20 which are installed between the plurality of solid light sources and have a light direction conversion region to change the direction and widen the point light source into uniform surface light, a coupling clip which is the coupling clip to include an upper capping part 32 and a bottom support part and in which the bottom support part is arranged perpendicularly to the upper capping part, and which has a sufficient height to house a plurality of optical films, and an upper diffusion body to diffuse the uniform surface light.
