<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic chelating material, which can collect, remove, concentrate, and recover metallic ions easily, safely, and efficiently from industrial waste water, river water, and ground water by using magnetic separation techniques, has few environmental problems in manufacturing, and has a high metallic ion collection capability and acid resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the magnetic chelating material, hydrophobic resin particles containing strontium ferrite or barium ferrite are coated with a polymerized film of a monomer having an active group, and a chelate-forming group to a metal is introduced by a reaction with the active group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
