[Also in Division F1] Oscillatory motion of a member 38 about a pivot bolt 37 is effected by linkwork comprising a shaft 16, mounted for oscillation about a fixed axis at right angles to the axis of pivot bolt 37, by an arm 13 connected to a control rod 11, and carrying a radial connecting member 26 which is connected to the member 38 by means of a cylinder-and-socket joint 28, 29. A cylindrical member 28 is freely mounted within a socket 29 and has a transverse bore 27 in which the connecting member 26 is slidably received. As shown, the member 38 is in the form of a cam ring used in the control of a radialpiston pump having a cylinder block 39 rotatable therein and carrying pistons 40. |
