PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bit for a rotatingly buried steel pipe pile which is butt-welded to all the periphery of a steel pipe pile and improves the efficiency and quality of welding with less number of parts. SOLUTION: This bit for a steel pipe pile comprising includes: a groove slope part which is provided to all the periphery of the joint end of the bit body and has an annular slope forming a groove for welding in association with the buried front end of the steel pipe pile; and a lining part which is integrally provided to all the periphery of the joint end, joined to the slope of the groove slope part, and has an annular outer peripheral surface fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the steel pipe pile. The bit can be joined to the steel pipe pile by a butt-welding on the whole periphery with high efficiency and high quality obtained with less number of parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
