PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety confirmation device of a high lift work vehicle easily additionally installed into an existing work table in which a light emitting portion indicating the locking of a hook has excellent visibility without being affected by peripheral brightness. SOLUTION: The safety confirmation device is attached to a casing 31 for additionally installing, into the work table 15, a locking rod for locking the hook 22; a pressing plate 33 that presses the hook 22 locked to the locking rod by energizing a spring; a lever 35 for forming a space to lock the hook 22 to the locking rod by moving the pressing plate 33; a contact type sensor for detecting that the hook 22 locked to the locking rod is pressed by the pressing plate 33 depending on the movement position of a shaft protrusively installed on the pressing plate 33; and a monitor lamp 39 that is turned on when the sensor detects the locking of the hook 22.
