The present invention discloses a video decoding method, comprising: receiving a bitstream for a coded video and parsing the bitstream; extracting, from the bitstream, image data of a current picture allocated to a maximum coding unit that is a coding unit with a maximum size, information on a coding depth for each maximum coding unit and a coding mode and information on a filter coefficient for loop filtering of the current picture; decoding the image data that has been coded by maximum coding unit, based on the information on the coding depth for each maximum coding unit and the coding mode; performing deblocking on the decoded image data of the current picture; and performing loop filtering on the deblocked data by continuous one-dimensional filtering, thereby restoring the current picture.
