In order to directly use decomposition evaporated gases generated during thermal decomposition as an energy source or use the gases to produce an energy source, the present invention relates to a system for the thermal decomposition of rubber scraps and rubber flakes, said system comprising: a main reactor for thermal decomposition of waste products such as rubber scraps and rubber flakes; a condenser for condensing decomposition evaporated gases generated from the main reactor; an expansion turbine driven by uncondensed gases generated from the main reactor; a storage tank for storing the uncondensed gases for driving the expansion turbine; a gas generator for generating heating gas by using a portion of the uncondensed gases stored in the storage tank; a heater using the heating gas from the gas generator to heat the uncondensed gases fed from the storage tank; a gas turbine driven by the uncondensed gases from the storage tank; and a steam generator for generating steam by using the heating gas from the gas generator, the heating gas used for heating the uncondensed gases with the heater, and the uncondensed gases for driving the gas turbine.
