PURPOSE: A broadcasting signal reception apparatus and broadcasting signal processing method are provided to output the received broadcasting signal and output audio by controlling the output of the broadcasting signal. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting signal reception apparatus(110) includes a receiver(111), a compressor(112), a controller(113), and outer ports. The receiver receives a broadcast signal. The controller processes the video signal from the compressor. The outer port is connected to the external memory. The controller is connected to the outer port. The controller outputs the audio signal from the compressor. The image file is selectively outputted from the external memory.
