<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element that is improved in light emission output according to an increase in the thickness of a reflecting layer even when the thickness of a reflection part is equal to or larger than a certain thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element 1 includes a semiconductor substrate 10, a light emission part 20, the reflection part 210 which has a thickness of 1.7 to 8.0 μm and is provided between the semiconductor substrate 10 and light emission part 20, and a current dispersion layer 240 which is provided to the opposite side of the reflection part 210 across the light emission part 20 and has an uneven part 250 on a surface, wherein the reflection part 210 is formed while having a pair layer constituted of a first semiconductor layer and a second semiconductor layer, which have a thicknesses predetermined by specific expressions respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
