<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system wherein a printing time is not taken by efficiently deciding a direction of a preprint paper sheet when printing a direction decision patch of the preprint paper sheet without greatly affecting an image area and performing transparent toner printing over a plurality of sheets when printing the direction decision patch of the preprint paper sheet and CMYK image data at the first time, deciding the direction of the preprint paper sheet in the second printing, and superposing transparent image data. <P>SOLUTION: A printing method for the direction decision patch of the preprint paper sheet is changed over by whether to perform trim mark printing or double-face printing. A user is made to select the number of paper sheets performed with direction decision processing of the preprint paper sheet by "certainty of the direction" when setting the preprint paper sheet to reduce the transparent image data printing time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
