<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generation equipment storage rack capable of supplying air-conditioned air to heat generation equipment appropriately and collecting heat efficiently even in the case of the heat generation equipment where an inlet and an outlet are formed on side faces, and to provide a data center. <P>SOLUTION: The heat generation equipment storage rack can suck air vertically over the front, can exhaust air vertically over the back, and stores a plurality of pieces of heat generation equipment including fans for sucking and exhausting air while stacking the pieces of heat generation equipment vertically. In the heat generation equipment storage rack, at least one of the pieces of heat generation equipment is side sucking/exhausting equipment S where an inlet for taking in air-conditioned air is formed on one side face and an outlet 31 is formed on the other side face.
