<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for integrated signal processing for an IP (internet protocol)-based wired network or a wireless integrated network. <P>SOLUTION: Based on an ID (identification) of a second user acquired in response to a service call request from a first user terminal, a unique address corresponding to the ID of the second user is acquired from a user management server. Then, the location address corresponding to the unique address acquired from the address information of terminals being stored and managed, i.e., a transmission address of the second user terminal, is acquired. To the acquired transmission address of the second user terminal and the transmission address of the first user terminal, an IP connection is requested.
