<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize a distance between a liquid crystal layer and a parallax dividing section in each of a plurality of cells. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device having liquid crystal cells and parallax dividing sections stuck to the liquid crystal cells, includes: a liquid cell group forming step of arranging a first substrate and a second substrate opposite each other and sealing a liquid crystal member therebetween to form a liquid crystal cell group comprising a plurality of the liquid cells; a thinning step of thinning the thickness of the first substrate in the form of the liquid crystal cell group; a board thickness measuring step of measuring the thickness of the thinned first substrate; a distance correction step of correcting the distance between the first substrate and the parallax dividing section in each liquid crystal cell based on the measured thickness of the first substrate; a sticking step of sticking the first substrate and the parallax dividing section; and a dividing step of dividing the liquid cell group into a plurality of the liquid cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
