<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacket causing no deterioration in shading cloth even after repeated use, retaining excellent shading properties for a long period of time, and also designed so that the shading cloth hardly absorbs heat so as to suppress the rise in temperature inside the jacket. <P>SOLUTION: The jacket is made of air-permeable cloth covering the skin of a wearer, and a shading cloth 20 arranged so as to be superimposed on the outer surface of at least part of the air-permeable cloth. The shading cloth 20 comprises a plurality of white tapes 21, and a plurality of connecting yarns 22, 23 parallelly connecting the plurality of white tapes 21 with one another at intervals α.
