PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that is fixed to paper by contactless fixing and achieves high print gloss in a short dwell time. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least one amorphous resin, at least one infrared absorber, at least one crystalline resin, an optional colorant and an optional wax, wherein at least one infrared absorber shows a maximum absorption of light at wavelengths from about 700 nm to about 850 nm.
