PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium that allows a playback device to perform Out-of-MUX framework without complicating software implementation. SOLUTION: On a BD-ROM, PlayList information is recorded. The PlayList information includes MainPath information and SubPath information. The MainPath information and the SubPath information include connection_condition information and sp_connection_condition information, respectively. The connection_condition information and the sp_connection_condition information indicate that, when a connection state between two MainClips referred to with the MainPath information is a seamless connection (CC=5), a connection state between two SubClips referred to with the SubPath information is also a seamless connection (SP_CC=5).
