A check valve of the present invention comprises: a main body having a hollow shape, and having an inlet through which a refrigerant mixed with oil is introduced, an outlet and a drain hole which define a communication channel that connects the inlet and the outlet; a valve body, moving within the main body and controlling refrigerant flow from the inlet to the outlet; a cap for covering an open portion of the main body; and a press means for pressing the valve body in the direction for blocking the refrigerant flow, wherein the valve body presses oil-free refrigerant in the communication channel to enable the refrigerant to flow from the inlet to the outlet. Accordingly, advantages include natural separation and discharge of the oil contained in the refrigerant by the chin portion of the refrigerant inlet, thereby maximizing the oil separation performance, and reverse flow of the refrigerant is prevented by the valve body. Moreover, the combination of the oil separation function and the check valve functions capable of preventing the reverse flow of the refrigerant facilitates creating more interior space within a compressor, thereby improving the design and assembly processes.
