<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide packing which is mounted to a branch case in which a branch section is established between parting planes and can miniaturize its mold, and a mounting method of the packing. <P>SOLUTION: A packing 4, which seals the inside of branch case surrounding fluid pipe, includes a pair of first packings 41 and 43 mounted in a contacting member with the fluid pipe and a pair of second packings 42 and 44 which mutually connects the ends of the first packings 41 and 43 and intervenes between flanges of the branch case, wherein the second packing 42 consists of a circular arc section 42a mounted to the branch section and a connecting section 42b ranging from both ends of the arc section 42a to the first packings 41 and 43, and in a natural condition that external force does not act, the pair of first packings 41 and 43 extends linearly when viewed from a pipe axial direction PD of the fluid pipe, and the arc section 42a is profiled in projection toward the second packing 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
