<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a period during which a flash memory can retain data, thereby preventing the data retained in the flash memory from being lost inadvertently even if the flash memory is highly integrated. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 200 includes: an obtaining part 220 which initially retains reference information indicating the relationship between the number of rewrites to the flash memory and the retainable period of the data stored in the flash memory and which obtains the number of rewrites to the flash memory at a certain point of time and the necessary retention period at a certain point of time of the data stored in the flash memory; a deriving part 224 which refers to the reference information to derive the retainable period from the number of rewrites obtained by the obtaining part; a comparison part 226 which compares the necessary retention period obtained by the obtaining part and the retainable period derived by the deriving part; and a warning part 228 that warns if the necessary retention period exceeds the retainable period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
