<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washbasin counter capable of beautifully illuminating the whole surface of the counter. <P>SOLUTION: The washbasin counter 1 has a lighting system 3 on the rear surface side of a top board 2 at least part of which is formed of a translucent material. An upper surface 21 and a hanging portion 22 hanging from the edge of the upper surface of the top board 2 are formed of the translucent material, and the wall thickness of the whole or portion of a bending portion 23 of the upper surface 21 and hanging portion 22 is thinner than the wall thickness of the upper surface 21.
