<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device, such as a gyro vibrating reed which concurrently includes a combination of stable vibration properties and impact resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In a gyro vibrating reed 10, three pairs of electrode leads 6a/6b, 6c/6f and 6d/6e of TAB substrate 4 are symmetric with respect to a central point G, when the reed 10 is installed. The width of these three pairs equals to the one of another lead pairs located symmetric with respect to both a central line P1 passing through the central point G to bisect an opening hole 7, in a long side direction and a central line P2 bisecting an opening hole 7 in a narrow-side direction to mix and form thick electrode leads 6a/6b and narrow electrode leads 6c-6f. The gyro vibrating reed 10 is structured so that a terminal area formed on back side at substantially the center of the reed is jointed to top on each end of these electrode leads 6a-6f supporting the reed 10, while forming air gap T so that the reed 10 does not chafe the TAB substrate 4 on an area other than the joint. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
