<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving motor unit with improved layout. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 3 for drive control is detachably attached on a brushless motor 2. The control unit 3 includes a drive circuit unit 47 for controlling drive of the brushless motor 2, and a power supply circuit unit 48 for supplying current to the drive circuit unit 47. The drive circuit unit 47 has at least a FET 53 constituting a bridge circuit, and a CPU 54 for turning ON/OFF the FET 53. The power supply circuit unit 48 has at least a bus bar, and a choke coil 62 mounted on the bus bar and used to reduce electromagnetic noise. The drive circuit unit 47 and the power supply circuit unit 48 are disposed around a stator housing of the brushless motor 2.
